Save a selection to file

This tutorial describes the feature of Save Selection feature in StylePix.

The Save Selection is a feature to save selection or selected layers to file.

• Menu: File > Save Selection…
• Shortcuts: Ctrl + Shift + S

The basic procedure is as follows:

1. Select a particular region of the layer or specific layers by the Select Move tool.
2. In menu: choose the File > Save Selection…(shortcuts: Ctrl + Shift + S).
3. Type a name of file and choose the Save button.

For example, if you want to save the face of cat to the file. first select the cat layer and choose the File > Save Selection from menu.

To maintain the transparency of the image, select the png file format.
