Each object appear as a layer in\u00a0<strong>hierarchy<\/strong>. The\u00a0<strong>Hierarchy<\/strong>\u00a0allows you to manage layers and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hornil.com\/docs\/stylepix\/UserManual\/spConceptsLayers.html#LayerProperties\">their attributes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hornil.com\/docs\/stylepix\/UserManual\/WorkspaceHierarchy.html#\">Where is the\u00a0<strong>Hierarchy<\/strong>?<\/a><\/div>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Hierarchy<\/strong>\u00a0is located bottom of the right side.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>To display the\u00a0<strong>Hierarchy<\/strong>, choose\u00a0View &gt; Window &gt; Hierarchy\u00a0or press\u00a0F4.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The below image shows canvas and\u00a0<strong>Hierarchy<\/strong>\u00a0that consist of several\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hornil.com\/docs\/stylepix\/UserManual\/spConceptsLayers.html\">layers<\/a>. You can change the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hornil.com\/docs\/stylepix\/UserManual\/spConceptsBlendModes.html\">blend mode<\/a>\u00a0of layer by combo box. The\u00a0<strong>top controller<\/strong>\u00a0is activated only when current selected layer is not locked.<\/p>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hornil.com\/docs\/stylepix\/UserManual\/img\/WorkspaceHierarchyTopController.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<div>top controller of Hierarchy<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Blending Mode<\/h3>\n<p>Blending mode in Hornil StylePix are used to determine how two layers are blended into each other. For more details,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hornil.com\/docs\/stylepix\/UserManual\/ConceptsBlendModes.html\">see blending modes<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Opacity<\/h3>\n<p>The opacity represents the amount of transparency a layer has. Opacity ranges from 0 to 255, with 0 meaning complete transparency(that is, invisible), and 255 meaning complete opacity. The picture is existed to provide information of entire image.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Layer<\/h3>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Layer<\/strong>\u00a0is used in Hornil StylePix to separate different objects of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hornil.com\/docs\/stylepix\/UserManual\/Concepts.html#canvas\">canvas<\/a>. Layers are like transparencies stacked on another. The layer bounds mode shows the only existing area. but entire document mode shows the real position and size in entire canvas. It is possible to temporarily remove a layer from an image, without destroying it. You can set the visibility to check the second check box at the end of the layer.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Edit Lock<\/h3>\n<p>The edit lock determins whether or not the layer is editable. If layer is locked, you can&#8217;t select the layer by Select And Move tool. You can set the edit lock to check the check box at the end of the layer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Hierarchy ToolBar<\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>Hierarchy toolbar<\/strong>\u00a0allows you to manage layers such as following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>New Layer<\/h3>\n<p>The new layer command allows you to create and insert the new layer on the current selecting layer position.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>New Group<\/h3>\n<p>The new group command allows you to create group object. If you select the layers before perform this command, the selected layers are move to the newly created group.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h3>Bring forward<\/h3>\n<p>A layer with greater stack order is always in front of an object with a lower stack order.
