Default values are auto generated, but you can change anything you want. The below image shows the &#8220;New Picture&#8221; dialog.<\/p>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hornil.com\/docs\/stylepix\/UserManual\/img\/MenuFileNew.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<div>The &#8220;New Picture&#8221; dialog<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>If you want to remain the ratio between width and height check the\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Keep Aspect Rate&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0checkbox.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>Note<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Basically new image has a background layer. However if you set the background color to\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Transparent&#8221;<\/strong>, new image will have a normal layer without the background layer.<\/li>\n<li>If clipboard has a image, the width and height is automatically set to size of the clipboard image.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h2><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hornil.com\/docs\/stylepix\/UserManual\/img\/MainToolBarOpen.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\u00a0<a name=\"Open\"><\/a>Open&#8230;\u00a0(Ctrl\u00a0+\u00a0O)<\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>open<\/strong>\u00a0command allows you to open images form the common open dialog box.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h2><a name=\"OpenFrom\"><\/a>Open From<\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>open from<\/strong>\u00a0command allows you to open an image from the\u00a0<strong>clipboard<\/strong>\u00a0or other device such as\u00a0<strong>scanner<\/strong>\u00a0or\u00a0<strong>camera<\/strong>. If the clipboard is empty or device is not existed, the command is disabled.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>Note<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>To open an image from the clipboard into a new canvas, press\u00a0Ctrl\u00a0+\u00a0Shift\u00a0+\u00a0V.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h2><a name=\"OpenRecent\"><\/a>Open Recent<\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>open recent<\/strong>\u00a0command allows you to open an image that was opened with Hornil StylePix. The default size of recent file list is sixteen. If you want to change the default number of the list, see the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hornil.com\/docs\/stylepix\/UserManual\/spOptionDocument.html\">Option &gt; Document<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h2><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hornil.com\/docs\/stylepix\/UserManual\/img\/MainToolBarSave.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\u00a0<a name=\"Save\"><\/a>Save\u00a0(Ctrl\u00a0+\u00a0S)<\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>save<\/strong>\u00a0command allows you to save an active image on canvas into a file.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3>Saving as JPEG<\/h3>\n<p>When you save a file in JPEG format, a dialog is displayed that asking you to set the compression level, which ranges from 0 to 100. The default quality of 90 usually produces excellent results, but in many cases it is possible to set the quality substantially lower without noticeably degrading the image.<\/p>\n<div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hornil.com\/docs\/stylepix\/UserManual\/img\/MenuFileSaveJPG.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<div>The JPEG Save Options dialog<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h2><a name=\"SaveAs\"><\/a>Save As&#8230;<\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>save as<\/strong>\u00a0command allows you to save the current image specifing a new name and extension.<\/li>\n<li>\n<h2><a name=\"SaveCopy\"><\/a>Save A Copy<\/h2>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>save copy<\/strong>\u00a0command is like to\u00a0<strong>save as<\/strong>\u00a0command but this is not change the previous settings.
