Layers are like transparencies stacked on another. Each layer can have different&nbsp;<a title=\"Object\" href=\"http:\/\/hornil.com\/tutorial\/?page_id=53\">objects<\/a>. A Hornil StylePix image can consist of multiple layers.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.hornil.com\/docs\/stylepix\/UserManual\/img\/SampleLayers.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Layers - consists of five layers\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Layers<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The above sample image &#8216;Layers&#8217; is made up of five layers: the &#8216;Text Object&#8217; layer, the &#8216;Text Shadow&#8217; layer, the &#8216;Green circle&#8217; layer, the &#8216;Circle Shadow&#8217; layer and the Background layer. Each layer can be edited without affecting any other layer and can also have different opacity settings. The &#8216;top&#8217; or &#8216;bottom&#8217; is word specifies the stack order of an layer. A layer with greater stack order is always in front of an object with a lower stack order. Each layer can be changed the stacking order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can manage the layers using the&nbsp;<a title=\"Hierarchy\" href=\"http:\/\/hornil.com\/tutorial\/?page_id=96\">hierachy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a name=\"LayerProperties\"><\/a>Layer Properties<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a name=\"Name\"><\/a><h3>Name<\/h3><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The layer name is generated automatically when the layer is created. The generated name is unique but exactly need not be unique. You can change the name of the layer either by double-clicking on it in the hierachy window.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a name=\"Opacity\"><\/a><h3>Opacity<\/h3> <span style=\"color: var(--nv-text-color); font-family: var(--bodyfontfamily); font-size: var(--bodyfontsize); font-weight: var(--bodyfontweight); letter-spacing: var(--bodyletterspacing); text-transform: var(--bodytexttransform); background-color: var(--nv-site-bg);\">The opacity represents the amount of transparency a layer has. If the layer is locked, you can&#8217;t select the layer by\u00a0<a title=\"Select and Move tool\" href=\"http:\/\/hornil.com\/tutorial\/?page_id=126\">Select And Move<\/a>\u00a0tool.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Layer Style<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The layer can have the styles such as shadow, glow and etc. You can easily apply the styles to the layer using style tab in Tool Options with &#8216;Select And Move&#8217; tool. The sytle is only available in Hornil StylePix Pro.
